Arrive at our new offices in Hertford, make a ‘wake-up’ coffee and review today’s to do list. I also like to take this opportunity to update my candidate availability so that I can easily search and select later in the day.

Working in recruitment often means that candidates find it very hard to look for a job whilst they are working, so often around this time I will interview a candidate before they go to work. Today the candidate is exceptional and will be perfect for one of my clients. I market them out straight away and the Client is interviewing them this evening. Excellent!

Definitely time for another coffee, then the phone doesn’t stop ringing! I have a permanent position registered by a new Client from a cold-call I made yesterday!
